Briar Ridge Omakase Dinner at Hanayuzen Japanese Restaurant

[Dining]    We recently headed over to Hanayuzen Japanese Restaurant in Subang Jaya, Selangor for the Briar Ridge wine pairing dinner organised by Cave & Cellar Sdn. Bhd. – the official importer and distributor of Briar Ridge wines in Malaysia. Hanayuzen is one of the few authentic Japanese restaurants in Subang Jaya, and features a wide array of traditional Japanese cuisine. Howard Park x Roost x Sunrise Wines & Spirits Wine Dinner

[Dining]   Ruby and I recently attended the Howard Park Wine Dinner at Roost in Bangsar Baru, Kuala Lumpur which was organised by Sunrise Wines & Spirits – the official importer and distributor of the wines in Malaysia. The Howard Park story was borne out of the ambition to craft wine with generational cellaring potential. The first two wines were produced by its founder, John Wade, who left his prestigious posting in the Coonawarra after seeing enormous potential in the budding Great Southern wine region. Winemakers Dinner with Bryn Richards from Chapel Hill Winery in McLaren Vale, South Australia

[Wine Dinner]   Elaine and I recently headed over to Liberte in Tropicana, Petaling Jaya, Selangor for the Chapel Hill wine pairing dinner with Mr. Bryn Richards from the Chapel Hill winery. The wine pairing dinner was organised by Fortier Wines & Spirits – the importer and distributor of the wines in Malaysia. The Chapel Hill Winery in McLaren Vale was built on the site of the Seaview Chapel and school-house. Raventós Wine Pairing Dinner at BABE – Japas Fun Dining

[Luxury Dining]   Joanne and I recently attended the RAVENTOS i BLANC wine pairing dinner on 23 May 2018 at BABE – Japas Fun Dining in Damansara Heights, Kuala Lumpur. The Raventós family has lived on their estate in Barcelona, Spain since 1497. Over the years, twenty-one generations have worked this land, which comprises 90 hectares of vines, forest and lake, with a specific microclimate influenced by the river, a lake, two streams and a hill known as the Turó del Serral.
