[Editor’s Note] Weekend Buffet High Tea at Taman Sari, Hotel Istana Kuala Lumpur    Joanne and I recently headed over to Taman Sari (which in the Malay language means Garden of Flowers) which is Hotel Istana Kuala Lumpur’s 220-seater all-day Halal dining restaurant with Malaysian flavours. The restaurant is bright and welcoming with filtered natural lighting by day, and overlooks a beautifully landscaped garden (which BTW is great for photos!) and the hotel’s swimming pool. [Special Event]   Lyssa and I headed over to Kogetsu Japanese Restaurant in Saujana Hotel & Resort on 20 October 2016 for the very exclusive launch of Saito Sake featuring a sake pairing dinner by Michelin Starred Chef Yuichi Kamimura. Gekkeikan Sake Food Pairing Night at Aoki-Tei Japanese Restaurant

[Event]   MHB’s Kate Lee, Kelly Lee, Andy Kho and I attended the Gekkeikan sake and food pairing dinner at Aoki-Tei in Sunway Damansara hosted by the principle from Gekkeikan Sake – Masahiro Nagata who hails from Kyoto, Japan. Japan’s tradition of sake making began more than 2,000 years ago shortly after rice cultivation was introduced from China. The first few centuries yielded a beverage quite unlike that of today, however, years of experience perfected brewing techniques and increased sake’s overall appeal and popularity.
