[Editor’s Note] Weekend Buffet High Tea at Taman Sari, Hotel Istana Kuala Lumpur    Joanne and I recently headed over to Taman Sari (which in the Malay language means Garden of Flowers) which is Hotel Istana Kuala Lumpur’s 220-seater all-day Halal dining restaurant with Malaysian flavours. The restaurant is bright and welcoming with filtered natural lighting by day, and overlooks a beautifully landscaped garden (which BTW is great for photos!) and the hotel’s swimming pool. Chivas Regal Mizunara Dinner at The Olive, Genting Grand Hotel

[Special Event] Headed up to the Genting Grand Hotel recently for a special pairing of Chivas Regal Mizunara (and other expressions) with a 4 Course Set Menu by award-winning The Olive Restaurant & Bar located in the Genting Grand hotel, up in Genting Highlands. [Luxury Dining]   Joanne and I recently attended the RAVENTOS i BLANC wine pairing dinner on 23 May 2018 at BABE – Japas Fun Dining in Damansara Heights, Kuala Lumpur. The Raventós family has lived on their estate in Barcelona, Spain since 1497. W Wine & Liqour Warehouse is a family owned business and is rated 5 STAR by Wine Searcher. [Events] New Drinks Menu at Maze Gin Bar    Maze Gin Bar was launched in April 2017 and is a cosy lounge housing over 200 gin labels, mostly exclusive to Maze in Malaysia. The lounge is Malaysia’s first gin focused parlour by night, as well as a coffee and high tea cafe by day. [Events] An Evening with Nick Savage, Master Distiller of The Macallan   Beatrice and I recently headed over to Solaris Dutamas for a private cocktail with Nick Savage, Master Distiller of The Macallan. Nick was born in Sheffield, UK, and studied Sports Engineering at Sheffield Hallam University, before moving to Australia in 2002 to further his studies and eventually graduating from RM1T University. Martell H.O.M.E. – House of Martell Entertainment Malaysia 2017

[Event]    We headed over to Bukit Kiara Equestrian & Country Resort recently for Martell Malaysia’s Be Curious pop-up event called Martell H.O.M.E., short for House of Martell Entertainment, which ran from 6 to 11 November 2017. The pop-up event space was packed with puzzles, secret rooms, and optical illusions that challenged guests to look beyond appearances and explore Martell cognac with a ‘Be Curious’ twist. The event was to allow consumers to visit the Martell H.O.M.E. for mentoring sessions, as well as exclusive dinners over the course of 6 days.
