Oktoberfest 2018 Barrel Tapping Party at Brotzeit Mid Valley Megamall, Kuala Lumpur

[Events] We headed over to Brotzeit German Bier Bar & Restaurant in Mid Valley on Saturday, 17 September 2016, for the beer tapping ceremony at 7.30pm (Malaysian time) which is roughly about the same time that the first Oktoberfest barrel is tapped in Germany by the Mayor of  Munich. Oktoberfest was initially started as wedding celebration in 1810 to commemorate the union between Crown Prince Ludwig (who later became King Ludwig I) and Princess Therese of Saxe-Hildburghausen at Theresienwiese (translated as Therese’s meadow / field) – it is for this reason that Oktoberfest is referred to by Germans as ‘die … Continue reading Oktoberfest 2018 Barrel Tapping Party at Brotzeit Mid Valley Megamall, Kuala Lumpur

Champignons serves rustic and contemporary European cuisine with a modern touch, and opened at the end of 2017. A Date with the (2017) Honda Jazz 1.5L V (Car Review) and New Price List with SST (Effective 1 September 2018)

[Automotive News]   The nice folks over at Honda Malaysia passed me their (2017) Honda Jazz (facelift) V variant which was launched last year. As it’s been a while since I did a review of a Honda vehicle, I thought having a nippy and compact Jazz to zip around in for a couple of days would certainly be a nice change over my usual C segment car. The (2017) Honda Jazz Petrol is powered by the 1.5L i-VTEC engine coupled with Continuous Variable Transmission (CVT) which was developed under Honda’s Earth Dreams Technology. The engine provides 120 PS at 6,600 … Continue reading A Date with the (2017) Honda Jazz 1.5L V (Car Review) and New Price List with SST (Effective 1 September 2018)
