Atria Shopping Gallery’s Comedy & Food Festival 2016

[Upcoming Event] I still remember going to Atria when I was back in secondary school. The neighbourhood mall was one of the favourite hang out spots for SMDJ students before/ after school and on Friday afternoons the KFC there would be full of students, while the Popular bookstore was one of the spots where students got their stationary and revision books. Over time however, newer and newer malls opened and Atria lost its appeal to a lot of shoppers due to its limited size and tenant mix. I was very glad to hear that Atria would be redeveloped. The new … Continue reading Atria Shopping Gallery’s Comedy & Food Festival 2016

Dior Homme Summer 2017 Collection

[Luxury Fashion]   The Dior Homme collection for Summer 2017 fashion show was designed by Kris Van Assche, and drove an explicit evolution, channeling the energy of Haçienda youth through the industrial landscape of a utopian fun fair. Order and disorder ran parallel narratives throughout, as flashbacks to the New Wave and a sportif élan were intertwined with the militant crescendo of refined athletic tailoring. “This season there is a sense of collective consciousness to the collection – a remix of shared boyhood memories,” said Kris Van Assche. “I am interested in a synthesis of generations and filtering subcultures through … Continue reading Dior Homme Summer 2017 Collection
